Tax Deductible Donations
All giving can qualify for tax deductions on your federal returns - please see your tax professional if you have questions.
If you file Arizona State Taxes:
You can get a dollar for dollar return on your gift of up $400 per tax season (April 16th, 2025 through April 15th, 2026) for married people. If you qualify as single or file separately - your maximum gift is $200 for the same period. Fun fact, you can also give again on April 16, 2026 to support the current trip and claim this on your 2027 taxes. Please note it is for “Africa”, otherwise they will not know where to apply it.

What happens after you give:
By giving through the links above, the Administration of Arizona Agribusiness and Equine Center (AAEC) will provide you with the documentation necessary for your taxes. You are welcome and encouraged to give annually or whatever intervals work best for you! The South Africa Experience is a once in a lifetime opportunity for these students. Your support is very much appreciated! If you would like a thank you card from the student your tax deductible support has impacted - please email the receipt and request to the email address below. William will facilitate this process.

William Oglesby is the former Director of the Dr. Dean Rice Veterinary & Human Health Program at AAEC. He continues to support the legacy of Dr. Dean Rice through Dr. Rice’s Kids and supporting this important and life changing experience.

The idea of saving a species from extinction is not limited to one place! This is merely one example of why we need to help steward the knowledge in every single generation below us! Your time is valuable, but so is the limited time for species such as the Rhino. You can help change the lives of not only the students going to the South Africa Experience, but also the lives of rhino and other species connected to these students now and in the future.
